The older I get, the less I understand.  This is especially true of our political system. By the time I graduated from college over thirty years ago, with a double major in Business Administration and Political Science, I thought I had an insight into our political system second to none.  Alas, as I have grown older I have become a bit jaded about our political system of electing representatives and holding them accountable to the wishes of the voters.

I guess I watched too much television about the medieval period where there was a ruling class and everybody else.  In my mind, it seems our system is evolving into a similar system of a ruling class and everybody else.  Don’t get me wrong.  I love the United States of America and believe our political system has the potential to return to the intent of our founding fathers.  But for now I fell like I am a villager, and our current political leadership is terrorizing us.  I am not blaming a particular political party because too many politicians from all walks of life have forgotten they were elected when they were villagers.

So here it goes, my site Terrorize The Villagers, goes online to encourage open and frank discussions about how the villagers can once again have a voice in the political system.
